Nile Crocodile
An intimate portrait of Abdelatif Abou Heif, the long-distance swimmer of the century, seen through the eyes of his old friend Nabil Shazli. Based on testimonials and valuable archives, the film traces Abdelatif Abou Heif's journey through the changing political landscapes of Egypt starting from his hometown of Alexandria and traveling around the world. Abdelatif was not only known for his superpowers as a swimmer, but also for his humanity. A charismatic figure famous outside of Egypt but largely forgotten in his home country.
